It’s been an exciting week at appendTo, as we’ve been ramping up to release a new product called Juice UI. Juice UI is a collection of WebForms components that brings jQuery UI Widgets to your project with ease.

Juice logoJuice UI was announced at the Microsoft MVP Summit February 28, 2012, and industry blogs are already popping up. Here are a few of them:

ComponentOne’s Goodbye Ajax Control Toolkit, Hello Juice UI says, “Juice UI is appendTo’s modern equivalent to the Ajax Control Toolkit. The Ajax Control Toolkit served a great purpose for its time, but its time is coming to an end! Juice UI offers developers a great option to migrate to jQuery UI with ease.”

Wijmo’s Juice UI – Microsoft embraces jQuery UI shares, “Juice UI is developed by our friends at appendTo. They have done a great job at making an ASP.NET version of jQuery UI. Now jQuery UI is more accessible to .NET developers that are not yet familiar with JavaScript.”

Jon Galloway’s Juice UI: Open source ASP.NET Web Forms components for jQuery UI widgets gives a nice walkthrough of the project.

appendTo’s Andrew Powell is a part of the team developing and supporting Juice UI and had this to say regarding the product launch, “It was a great feeling to see everyone’s work here at appendTo come together for a successful launch. We are looking to the future now as we see how we can continually make Juice UI better and even more useful to ASP.NET developers.”
