Our Process – How We Engage
Needs Analysis
One of the keys to a successful project is a comprehensive needs analysis. Upon completion of a needs analysis we will deliver a project roadmap document that will equip you to make better decisions, better understand the project costs, schedule and process. We seek to make sure that all of the necessary groundwork has been laid to make the project successful. We understand that clients may have done this work themselves, in which case, as long as the provided information meets our requirements, a needs analysis may not need to be performed. If the documentation provided doesn’t meet our needs analysis requirements, appendTo will provide a fixed quote that won’t ever exceed $5,000 USD to work with you to perform your needs analysis on a given project. Once the needs analysis has been completed, and a project estimate has been created, appendTo will credit 50% of the cost of the needs analysis phase against the price of the full project upon engagement.Up Front Estimate
After a needs analysis has been performed, we will work with you to prepare a written estimate for your project. The estimate will contain a high level breakdown of the tasks to be performed to accomplish the project along with rough time estimates attached to each item. The estimate is meant to serve as a roadmap and to provide a rough basis for the budget. Project estimates are completed at no charge to the client.Implementation
After an estimate has been approved, our project manager will work directly with our team to ensure that the project stays on-time and on-budget. We will communicate between all the stakeholders on the project through regular meetings. As the project moves forward, we will integrate your feedback and help direct and lead the project toward a successful outcome. You will only be billed for the actual time spent on your project.Quality Assurance & Testing
Above and beyond our normal production testing and depending on the project requirements, appendTo can provide a comprehensive quality assurance and cross-browser testing solution to your project. With our testing solution, you can rest assured that your project will deliver a successful experience across all platforms.Delivery
As a project progresses toward delivery, we will work with your team to properly ensure that all of the assets we deliver are easily integrated into your environment, or are pushed out to production successfully. Everywhere possible, we make use of tested continuous integration techniques to make the push to a production environment as simple and re-producible as possible.
