Mike Hostetler

Mike Hostetler is an inventor, entrepreneur, programmer and proud father. Having worked with web technologies since the mid 1990's, Mike has had extensive experience developing web applications with PHP and JavaScript. Currently, Mike works as the CEO of appendTo, LLC, the jQuery Company, based in Denver, Colorado. Heavily involved in Open Source, Mike is a member of the jQuery Core team, leads the QCubed PHP5 Framework project, and participates in the Drupal project. When not in front of a computer, Mike enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, snowboarding and spending time with his family.

Jonathan Sharp

Jonathan Sharp has been passionate about the internet and web development since 1996. Over the past 14 years Jonathan has worked in a variety of settings from small startups such as Imprev, Inc. in Bellevue, Washington to larger organizations such as Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha, Nebraska to international corporations such as Motorola, Inc. in Chicago. Jonathan received his B.S. in Computer Science from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.

John Resig

John Resig joined the appendTo Board of Advisors in December of 2009 and previously worked as a JavaScript Tool Developer for the Mozilla Corporation.  He is the author of the book Pro JavaScript Techniques and Secrets of the JavaScript Ninja.  John is also the creator and lead developer of the jQuery JavaScript library.

Jonathan Shuster

Jonathan ("Jono") Shuster helps business owners and managers understand the dynamics that drive entrepreneurial success. In this practice, he has developed these principles into the logic that underlies the Benchmark Survey, Benchmark Report and matching algorithms.

Jono's experience spans entrepreneurial, corporate, and academic settings. As president and co-founder of a software technology company, Jono financed product development through a mix of sales and Federal technology development contracts. As a research faculty member at Virginia Tech, he led the development of software systems to solve complex industrial management problems. Earlier, he held marketing and engineering management roles in large and small technology companies serving the Federal marketplace.

Jono's passion is helping entrepreneurs succeed in taking innovative ideas and technologies to market, where they can help solve complex problems.

Will Kessler

Will Kessler is the Co-founder and Vice President of six high technology startups and a proven innovator and author of four software patents.  He has acted as a project planner and tech-team manager/mentor in fast-paced environments as well as an architect of large-scale website publishing, search and promotion efforts.  Will has 20 years networked systems development experience and 18 years experience building and managing Internet infrastructure.  Will is also a communication systems expert and has wide-ranging multi-media programming and production experience.

Richard D. Worth

Richard D. Worth is a UI developer in the Washington, DC area. He is one of the lead developers of jQuery UI, a component framework built on top of jQuery, designed to make Rich Internet Applications as simple as jQuery has made Ajax. Richard is also a co-author of the book 'jQuery Cookbook'.

Steve Kregstein

Steve Kregstein, a Harvard Law School graduate, has been a business attorney, entrepreneur and investor for over 30 years. A legal advisor and C-level officer for companies in many diverse industries, including medical device, health care, equipment leasing, software, e-commerce and real estate, he also has successfully co-launched, grown and sold a number of businesses. One of those companies begun in 1995 with total capitalization of $3 Million was valued at $110 Million when it was sold four years later.

Rey Bango

Rey Bango is an industry veteran, with over 20 years of experience in information technology. He's worked with recognized organizations such as Chase, Ryder, Coulter Corporation, and Mozilla as well as pure Internet plays to provide solutions to their needs.

As the Client-Web Community Program Manager for Microsoft, Rey focuses on building stronger awareness to client-side development and helping Microsoft meet the needs of this community. In addition, Rey is the Head of Evangelism for the jQuery JavaScript project and a writer for Ajaxian.com, the web's premier JavaScript blog.

Known for his passion for JavaScript and jQuery, approachable demeanor, and community-centric focus, Rey works tirelessly to promote the benefits of the jQuery project and assist the community by ensuring they have the information necessary to be successful. He is well-respected within the JavaScript community for his desire to promote unity and cooperation within the various JavaScript projects and his contributions to Ajaxian.com.
